A nutritious take on a heritage favourite, our Brown Rice Hokkien Dumpling is the perfect choice for the health-conscious without compromising on authentic taste. We have reimagined our famous Hokkien Bak Chang by replacing traditional white glutinous rice with high-fibre brown rice, known for its nutty flavour and lower glycaemic index.
Each dumpling is stir-fried with aromatic spices and dark soy sauce to achieve the signature savoury profile of a classic Hokkien dumpling. The heart of the filling remains true to tradition, featuring tender pork cubes marinated in our secret five-spice blend, earthy shiitake mushrooms, and sweet, nutty chestnuts. Hand-wrapped in bamboo leaves and boiled to perfection, it offers a hearty, wholesome, and soul-warming taste of Nanyang heritage.
